The much-awaited Pixel smartphone from Google is finally here! Equipped with Google’s artificial intelligence (AI)-based technology, the device takes the best shot at making the company’s entry into the truly high-end smartphone market.
Google’s Rick Osterloh shared during the launch event in San Francisco, “The Pixel name has always represented the best in hardware and software, designed and built by Google, together.”
The new Pixel smartphone also means killing off the Nexus range of devices by the tech giant which it earlier released in partnership with other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) like LG and Huawei.
Priced at $649, the device is now available for pre-order in the US, Britain, Canada, Germany and Australia in black and silver colour options. You can pre-book the Android-powered smartphone in India starting from October 13.
